Serve in a chilled collins glass.

  • 1½-2 ounces fresh lemon juice
  • 1½-2 ounces fresh lime juice
  • 2-3 ounces chilled American whiskey or flavored whiskey
  • 1 teaspoon confectioner’s or superfine sugar
  • Chilled club soda
  • Lemon slice
  • Lime slice
  • Maraschino cherry

Combine the lemon juice, lime juice, whiskey, and sugar in a shaker half-filled with fresh ice. Shake vigorously, and strain the mixed drink into the prepared serving glass over fresh ice, if desired. Fill the glass with club soda, and garnish with the lemon and lime slices and maraschino cherry.

Frozen Long Island Iced Tea
Serve in a frosted hurricane glass.

  • 1 cup fresh crushed ice
  • ½-1 ounce orange-flavored or other liqueur
  • ½-1 ounce vodka or flavored vodka
  • ½-1 ounce rum or flavored rum
  • ½-1 ounce gin or flavored gin
  • ½-1 ounce tequila or flavored tequila
  • 3 ounces sour mix
  • Chilled cola of choice
  • Wedge or slice of lemon or other complementary fruit
  • Mint sprig

Combine the fresh ice, liqueur, vodka, rum, gin, tequila, and sour mix in a heavy-duty blender; blend until slushy. Pour the mixed drink into the prepared serving glass, and add enough cola to fill the glass. Garnish with the fruit and mint sprig.

Coco Loco
Serve in the coconut shell.

  • 1 coconut
  • Fresh cracked ice
  • 1-1½ ounces white tequila
  • 1-1½ ounces gin
  • 1-1½ ounces light rum
  • 1-1½ ounces fresh pineapple juice
  • Simple syrup or superfine sugar
  • ½ lime
  • Pineapple spear

Carefully saw the top off the coconut without spilling the coconut milk. Drop in the cracked ice; pour in the tequila, gin, rum, and pineapple juice, and stir. Add simple syrup or superfine sugar to taste. Squeeze the lime over the drink, and then drop in the lime shell. Serve the drink in the coconut shell with a straw.
